Powerman Brazil takes place in august in Indaituba

Confirmed for August 19, the fourth edition of Powerman Brasil will be held once again in Indaiatuba, in São Paulo state. The event, which will again distribute spots for Powerman World Championship, always held in September in Switzerland, has Classic and Sprint categories. In the Classic the duoatletas are challenged in 20 km of race (interspersed in two steps of 10 km each) and 60 km of cycling. Already at Sprint, there are 10km of racing (divided into two stages of 5km each) and another 30km of cycling.

In addition Powerman Brazil is open for children. Since the first edition the event promotes the Powerman Kids, for young people from 4 to 13 years. The goal is to bring families to the event and provide children with the same activities as adults involved in international competition. This integration makes the small athletes feel prestigious and have even more desire to practice the sport. In addition, on Sunday is held the Power Run, a 5-km race that will be one of the new features of the 2018 edition schedule.

During the days leading up to the competition, athletes and public can feel the mood of Powerman Brazil long before the start. The organization promotes EXPO Sports every year, set up inside the Powerman Arena, at the Indaiatuba Velodrome. From there it is possible to buy official products of the brand and check the news of the duathlon market in the official Fair of the event.

Race City: IndaiaTuba

Located approximately 100km from São Paulo, Indaiatuba was again confirmed as the headquarters of Powerman Brazil. After two years in Florianópolis, E2X and M9 Produções, companies responsible for the organization of the event in South America, found in the city the possibility of performing all the event within an area of urban perimeter, going through one of the largest urban parks of the world, the Indaiatuba Ecological Park, designed by Rui Ohtake, besides using the structure of the Olympic Velodrome.

The format of the Powerman Brasil follows the same of the three previous editions with the Classic, Sprint and Powerman Kids, and in the Sprint distance is adopted the route composed by two stages of 5 km of race interspersed by a 30 km of cycling. The Classic follows with two 10-km running legs spaced out for 60 km of cycling. In that year the novelty is the inclusion of Power Run, a 5 km race that will take place on Sunday.
